CHS SELF-ASSESSMENT ELEARNING COURSE

The CHS Self-Assessment elearning course has been developped by CHS Alliance in partnership with IECAH, to provide a training opportunity for CHS Alliance members and other organisations planning to undertake the Self-Assessment against the Core Humanitarian Standard. The content of the course is based on the CHS Self-Assessment tool developed by CHS Alliance. The online platform and the virtualization of the course has been developed by IECAH. This project has been possible thanks to the support of the German Government.

The course aims to provide an advanced and practical understanding of the CHS self-assessment tool.

At the end of the course participants will acquire:

The ability to describe the CHS Verification Framework and the main benefits of using the different verification options.

The ability to conduct a CHS self-assessment following a step-by-step approach.

Structure

The E-Learning course includes:

3 lessons;
short exercises; and,
3 more comprehensive practical exercises at the end of lesson 3

The online nature of this course allows participants to organize themselves according to their individual schedules.

Tips

We recommend going through this e-learning course with a printed copy of the CHS self-assessment tool and the verification framework in front of you. You are expected to complete the three lessons of this course on your own. However, should there be any questions or feedback, do not hesitate to get in touch with us at any time. Note that you should already be familiar with the CHS before you start this e-learning course.
